Ranchi railway station should be named after Birsa Munda, MP Sanjay Seth requested Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav

Ranchi: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was on Ranchi tour today on Tuesday. BJP MP Sanjay Seth welcomed him. The MP expressed gratitude for the gifts given by Railways to Ranchi and Jharkhand. During this, MP Sanjay Seth also submitted a request letter to the Railway Minister. In this request letter, the MP has told the Railway Minister that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda as Tribal Pride Day. This is a matter of pride for all of us. To increase its pride, the people of the area wish that Ranchi Railway Station should be named after Dharti Baba Lord Birsa Munda. At present the work of redevelopment of this station is also going on. In this, a life-size statue of Lord Birsa Munda will be installed in the new station premises. The MP urged the Railway Minister to make a plan on the lines of One Station One Local Food at railway stations. This work can be done through IRCTC.

There is a need for railway underpass

MP Sanjay Seth said in his memorandum that Namkum Ghat is situated on the Swarnarekha River, where a large number of people celebrate the festival of Shravan and Chhath. This was the only way to reach the ghat, which has been closed by the Railways. This road was opened for 2 months in the month of Shravan and now during the time of Chhath also it was opened for 2 days. This is an important topic. There is a need for a big underpass here, so that the movement of people of the area can be facilitated.

Stoppage of trains should resume at these railway stations

MP Sanjay Seth has urged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnan that Namkum, Tatisilve, McCluskieganj and Silli are important railway stations of this region. Before the lockdown during the Corona period, many trains used to stop here. At present the halt of many trains is closed here. There is a need to start stopping all the trains which were halted before the lockdown.
