Principals will now be appointed in Bihar, education department sent requisition for 6060 posts

Patna. 6060 headmasters will soon be appointed in all the upgraded secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. The Education Department has sent its requisition to the General Administration Department on Tuesday. The General Administration Department will send it to the Bihar Public Service Commission in the next day or two. According to official information, on the basis of this requisition of the Education Department, BPSC can issue advertisement any time this month. The syllabus and examination format for the Headmaster’s examination will be decided by the Commission in consultation with the Administrative Department.

set conditions for services

The conditions for the services of candidates from government and private schools are fixed for these proposed posts of headmaster in secondary and higher secondary upgraded schools. To become a head master, one should have at least eight years of continuous service on the post of secondary teacher under the Panchayati Raj Institution and Municipal Body Institution of the State Government. At least four years of continuous service will be required for the post of higher secondary teacher in a state government school. Apart from this, if the candidate is a teacher of a private school, then he should have 12 years of experience of teaching in a private secondary school and 10 years of experience of teaching in a higher secondary private school.

The event will meet the deadline for teaching experience and will attract a good number of candidates.

According to departmental experts, by reducing the time limit for teaching experience in schools, a large number of candidates will be available. Therefore, the age limit has been reduced. The notification for reducing the age limit has been issued about two months ago. It is noteworthy that last year, advertisement was issued for the post of 6421 headmasters through Bihar Public Service Commission. Only 421 could be selected in this. Of these also only 369 had contributed to schools. In this way, more than four thousand earlier vacant posts and two thousand more new posts have been created. At present, these appointments of 6060 vacant posts on Tuesday are only for the upgraded Plus Two schools. All these schools have been upgraded from class eight in the last three-four years.
