Sam Pitroda narrated an interesting story related to Rajiv Gandhi in the context of Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. In fact, in an interview given to a YouTube news channel, Pitroda said, Rajiv Gandhi was also eager to meet people at the grassroots level. He said, I remember that once my wife and I had gone to meet Rajiv Gandhi. We saw that his hands were bleeding. Pitroda further said that when he asked Rajiv Gandhi about this, the former Prime Minister told him that he had shaken hands with at least 5,000 people. Wherever I went, I had to shake hands.
