Governor Dr. CV Anand Bose will leave for Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas. In an information issued from Raj Bhavan, it has been said that the Governor has sought a detailed report from the state government on the Sandeshkhali incident. Besides, discussions have also been held with top officials of the Central Armed Police Forces and the Chief Vigilance Commissioner of the Government of India. The Governor will visit the affected areas on Monday.
