CM Mamta said regarding Sandeshkhali incident – State government is taking appropriate steps

North 24 Parganas of West Bengal Sandeshkhali Incident Amidst the public anger, the police has also come into action mode. The uproar increased further after the arrest of the former CPI(M) MLA on Sunday. Former Sandeshkhali MLA Nirapad Sardar was taken to the local police station from his house in Bansdroni on Sunday morning. He was interrogated for several hours at Bansdroni police station. At around 3 pm, five police officers from Basirhat and Sandeshkhali police stations came to Bansdroni police station.

Uproar in Assembly over Sandeshkhali issue, 6 BJP MLAs including Shubhendu Adhikari suspended

After the uproar over the Sandeshkhali issue in the state assembly of West Bengal. Subhendu Adhikari Including 6 BJP MLAs were suspended. The state opposition leader claimed that the Assembly Speaker has suspended us on the orders of Mamata Banerjee. The six suspended BJP MLAs include Subhendu Adhikari, Agnimitra Pal, Bankim Ghosh, Taapsee Mandal, Mihir Goswami and Shankar Ghosh. On Monday, BJP MLAs reached the budget session of the Assembly wearing T-shirts written ‘We are with Sandeshkhali’. The speaker objected to this. After this the BJP MLAs started protesting. Along with raising slogans, they also started blowing whistles and after some time, BJP MLAs walked out of the assembly.

Women demonstrated in front of the Governor’s vehicle while going to Sandeshkhali, demanding payment of outstanding funds.

On the way, he had to face demonstration of women demanding payment of dues for 100 days of work. The women protesting on both sides of the road are demanding that the Governor first make arrangements for the outstanding salaries of 100 days. According to local sources, the protesters reached in front of the Governor’s convoy in protest. Due to which Bose’s convoy stopped. The Governor got down from the car and assured the women that their problem would be resolved soon.

Governor Dr CV Anand will visit Sandeshkhali today

Governor Dr. CV Anand Bose will leave for Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas. In an information issued from Raj Bhavan, it has been said that the Governor has sought a detailed report from the state government on the Sandeshkhali incident. Besides, discussions have also been held with top officials of the Central Armed Police Forces and the Chief Vigilance Commissioner of the Government of India. The Governor will visit the affected areas on Monday.
