Ranchi: Due to western disturbance, the weather patterns in Jharkhand have changed. It rained in many districts of the state. Maximum rainfall occurred in Simdega on Monday. There was about five mm of rain there. There was light rain in the capital Ranchi also late in the evening. This situation may last till 15 February. The weather is expected to clear from February 16. According to Abhishek Anand, scientist in-charge of the weather center, it rained in the southern and western parts of the state on Monday. The weather has changed since Monday evening due to western disturbance. This resulted in light rain in the western, central and adjacent eastern parts of the state. The widespread impact of the disturbance will be visible in Jharkhand on 13 and 14 February. Its effect will start reducing from 15th February. The weather will clear up by 16th. There may be hailstorm in Palamu division on 13 February. The weather center has issued an alert regarding this. On Tuesday, there may also be light rain and hailstorm in Gumla, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi and Koderma. There is forecast of rain with thunder in these districts on 14th February also. During this period the minimum temperature has increased. The minimum temperature of the capital Ranchi has exceeded 14 degrees Celsius on Monday. This will last for the next three days. The maximum temperature on Monday was around 28 degrees Celsius. It may fall due to clouds.
Chairman and members of Child Protection Commission removed
Jharkhand State Child Protection Commission Chairperson Kajal Yadav and member Sunil Kumar Verma have been removed. The Principal Secretary of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development Department has issued an order related to this. Both were accused of misusing their position. The department had got it investigated. The department was not satisfied with their version of the investigation. After this both have been removed. He was made the Chairman and Member on 28 November 2022.
