Jharkhand High Court has given a big relief to former National President of Congress and Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad, Kerala, Rahul Gandhi. After hearing the petition filed in this regard on Friday (January 5), the High Court upheld the ban on coercive action against Rahul Gandhi in the case of his indecent remarks against Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. Justice Ambuj Nath’s court, while hearing the defamation case filed against Rahul Gandhi, ordered to submit the record of the lower court’s decision. In the year 2018, the Congress General Conference was held in Delhi. In this, Rahul Gandhi had made serious comments on Amit Shah. He had said that a murderer can become the national president only in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), no such person is made the president in Congress. On this comment of Rahul Gandhi, a defamation case was filed against him in the year 2019. A person named Naveen Jha filed a defamation case against the Congress leader. After the hearing in this case, Justice Ambuj Nath of Jharkhand High Court gave this order. Rahul Gandhi had also given a controversial statement on Modi surname during the election campaign in the year 2019. In this case also a complaint was filed against him in Jharkhand. Another case was registered in Chaibasa. That means, there are three cases registered against Rahul Gandhi in Jharkhand for his controversial statements. Pradeep Kumar had filed a case against him in Chaibasa, the district headquarters of West Singhbhum. A warrant was also issued against him in this case. However, he has got relief in this matter from Jharkhand High Court.
