The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Saturday placed the country’s first solar mission vehicle ‘Aditya L1’ in its final destination orbit about 15 lakh kilometers from the Earth to study the Sun. India’s space mission vehicle Aditya L-1 successfully reached its final destination on Saturday after traveling 15 lakh kilometers in space for 126 days, with which a series of congratulations started. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this. Aditya-L1 spacecraft was launched on September 2 and has reached ‘Lagrangian Point 1’, from where it will orbit the Sun and study it. PM Modi said in a post on ‘X’, “India’s first solar research satellite Aditya-L1 reached its destination. This is a testament to the tireless dedication of our scientists in realizing one of the most complex and difficult space missions.” He said, ”I join the nation in appreciating this extraordinary achievement. We will continue to cross new boundaries of science for the betterment of humanity.” President Draupadi Murmu praised the entire scientific community for this achievement. Draupadi Murmu said in a post on ‘X’, “ISRO has achieved another big achievement. India’s first Sun mission ‘Aditya-L1’ has been successfully placed in the destination orbit.
