Aligarh: Prayers of all religions were organized to save the life of a laborer trapped in Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi for nine days. On Monday, people of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian religions asked for prayers and blessings to evacuate the workers at the Congress office located on Railway Road in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. People of all religions prayed to God that the people trapped in the tunnel should be rescued through a miracle. 41 laborers are trapped due to landslide in the tunnel 9 days ago, however, relief and rescue operation is being conducted to save the laborers. Pipes have been used to supply food and oxygen to the workers. At the same time, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has also arrived to take stock of the mediation work. However, it is being told that it will take at least three days of work to evacuate the workers.

Anwar Akil told that a meeting of all religions was organized at the Congress office. People of all religions have prayed to save the workers. He said that the workers are stranded. There must be a miracle to save his life, so that he can be brought out safely and meet his family. He said that efforts are being made by the government in case of natural disaster.
