UP News: The accused was not arrested in the case of attempted rape of a female officer, Akhilesh targeted

The non-arrest of revenue officer Ghanshyam Shukla, who was accused of assaulting and attempting to rape a woman Naib Tehsildar posted in Basti Sadar Tehsil of UP, is raising questions about the intentions of the district administration. The victim has released a video on social media platform X pleading for justice from the Chief Minister as the accused has not been arrested yet. The victim Naib Tehsildar said that the FIR was registered with great difficulty. The statement of Section 164 was also recorded before the Magistrate, but even after three days of recording the statement, the accused has not been arrested yet. The victim has made serious allegations against the district administration and the police administration of giving protection to the accused. The victim has now demanded justice from the Chief Minister. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has slammed the UP government by sharing the video of the victim on his social media platform X. He wrote that in Uttar Pradesh, when a PCS woman officer is talking through a video about another officer breaking into her house and posing a threat to her identity and life, but it took several days to even file her FIR. The BJP government should explain why it is pretending to praise ‘Nari Shakti Vandan’. This is a very serious matter because for the general public, administrative officers are the face of the government. If those officers themselves become insecure and suffer, then the public will also lose the trust they had in the government. Samajwadi Party stands in support of all loyal officers and demands immediate punitive-decisive action.

This is the whole matter

It is noteworthy that on the night of 12th November, the female Naib Tehsildar was alone in her government quarters. At one o’clock in the night, the accused revenue officer attacked the house of a female Naib Tehsildar. The accused knocked on the door, but since it was late at night, the lady Naib Tehsildar did not open the door, after which the accused reached the back of the house. He broke the door and entered the house. The victim told in the complaint that after forcibly entering the house, he first slapped her and then started forcing himself on her. When he protested, he got bitten by teeth on many parts of his body. After that he threw her on the floor and started trying to rape her forcibly. When he protested, an attempt was made to murder him by strangulation. In the complaint given to the police, the woman Naib Tehsildar told that I remained scared in the house for three days. Didn’t tell anything to anyone. On November 15, she took three days leave and went to her parents. After that I told the whole story to my family, after which the family went ahead and lodged a complaint in the police station.

MLC made serious allegations against DM and SP

Now politics has also intensified regarding the incident that happened with the female Naib Tehsildar posted in Basti Sadar Tehsil. BJP MLC Devendra Pratap Singh raised serious allegations while questioning the intentions of the district administration as the accused revenue officer Ghanshyam Shukla has not been arrested yet. He said that the accused has the protection of the collector and the captain. The statement of 164 of the victim is sufficient basis for the arrest of the accused. Top officials of the district are trying to save the accused. Whatever the DM and SP are doing comes under the category of crime.

Investigation is being done-ASP

Meanwhile, ASP Deependra Chaudhary said that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint. A case has been registered against Naib Tehsildar under section 376,307,452,323,504,354,511. The Kotwali police is investigating the matter. Legal action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
