UP Municipal Election: Women’s booths will be made in Bareilly’s bodies, medical team will be posted at counting places

Bareilly : The Bareilly administration is gearing up very fast for the preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Elections, 2023. There will be voting in the second phase i.e. on May 11. Due to which the nomination process will start from 17th April. Before this, DM and District Election Officer Shivakant Dwivedi held a meeting and election-related control rooms must be made at all 5 tehsils and district level. He said that one women’s booth each will be made in the Municipal Corporation, all the four municipalities and all the 15 Nagar Panchayats. Women employees will be deployed at this women’s booth. Here women voters of Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Nagar Panchayats will be able to vote.

DM gave instructions for photography

The DM instructed the District Panchayat Raj Officer (DPRO) to conduct photography in all tehsils during nomination. There was talk of deputing one photographer each for this. Deputy Director Agriculture was given the responsibility of packing the boxes of nomination forms properly and making them available to all ROs and AROs. The SDM of all the tehsils of the district was given the responsibility of making election control in the tehsil. Said, the problems related to elections will be resolved in the election control room. Instructed the SDM to clean the ballot box better and provide it to the RO/ARO.

Medical team will be alert on the day of polling and counting

The DM instructed the medical team to remain alert on the day of polling and counting. The DM asked the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to make arrangements for the doctor team and ambulance on the day of polling. During this, CDO Jag Pravesh, CMO Dr. Balveer Singh, ADM City Dr.RD Pandey, ADM E Ritu Punia, ADM Finance Santosh Bahadur Singh, City Magistrate Renu Singh etc were present.

Women booths will be made in these bodies

Make women’s booths in Bareilly Municipal Corporation, Municipality Faridpur, Nawabganj, Amla, Bahedi, Nagar Panchayat Sirauli, Thiria Nijabat Khan, Rithora, Fatehganj West, Fatehganj East, Shahi, Sheeshgarh, Senthal, Devarnia, Richha, Shergarh, Faridpur, and Visharatganj Will go Let us tell you that voting will be done with EVMs at 585 polling booths. Votes will be cast through postal wallets in 4 municipalities and 15 nagar panchayats. EVMs have arrived from Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Chhattisgarh for the election of mayor and ward councillors.
