BJP leader Smriti Irani Responded to Rahul Gandhi’s statement while participating in the discussion on the no-confidence motion. Smriti Irane fiercely attacked Rahul Gandhi in her reply. He said that Manipur was neither divided nor will it be, it is an integral part of India. Smriti Irani said Rahul Gandhi They were talking about killing Bharat Mata and Congress people were thumping the table here, this has never happened in parliamentary history.
Anti-Sikh riots discussed
Smriti Irani raised the issues of 1984 anti-Sikh riots and unrest in Kashmir during the Congress government while participating in the discussion on the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha. He said that the people of Congress are telling the agenda of the film which tells the truth of Kashmir. Smriti Irani said that the Congress which is raising the issue of Manipur today, does it remember the 1984 anti-Sikh riots? Smriti Irani mentioned some incidents of how women were subjected to violence and raped. Small children were killed.
Smriti taunts Rahul on leaving the house
Smriti Irani took part in the discussion after Rahul Gandhi’s address, but Rahul Gandhi left the House at the time of his address. On this, Smriti Irani said that she could not answer that’s why she ran away. Smriti Irani mentioned the incident of gang rape and murder of a minor in Rajasthan. In her address, Smriti Irani mentioned the works done by the Narendra Modi government. He said that many women were raped because of open defecation. Our government made women safe by building toilets in the village. He said that Jan Dhan accounts were opened for women and they were made self-reliant. Discussed the achievements of Indian players in sports and told the number of medals brought by them and asked the Congress to clap for the achievements of the children of Mother India. Smriti Irani said that Congress has told the film which tells the truth of Kashmir as an agenda.
Rahul Gandhi attacked Narendra Modi
Prior to Smriti Irani, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the central government over the situation in Manipur and alleged that Bharat Mata has been murdered in this northeastern state and those who do so are ‘traitors’. Participating in the debate on the no-confidence motion brought against the government in the Lok Sabha, he targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting Manipur and claimed that the Prime Minister does not consider the state to be a part of India. Amidst the talk of the members of the ruling party, the Congress leader also said that if India’s voice is to be heard, then arrogance and hatred will have to be abandoned. He gave this statement in the House after the restoration of the Lok Sabha membership and thanked the Speaker of the Lok Sabha for restoring the membership.
