Ranchi: Grand conference of Didis of women’s group today, CM Champai Soren will inaugurate, changes in traffic system

Ranchi: The grand conference of the sisters of self-help groups formed by Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) will be held on Monday, February 12, at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Champai Soren. The chief guests of the program will be Minister Alamgir Alam and Satyanand Bhokta. In view of the possibility of more than 30 thousand Didis participating in the conference, changes have been made in the traffic system of the capital Ranchi. Operation of city ride buses, autos and e-rickshaws has been prohibited on the major roads of the city. Due to the programme, holiday has also been declared in some schools.

No entry of heavy goods vehicles from 8 am to 8 pm

In Ranchi, entry of heavy goods vehicles has been banned from 8 am to 8 pm, except the buses coming for the program of Didis of women group in Morhabadi, Ranchi. Entry of all types of goods vehicles has been prohibited in Bariatu, Bodeya, Kanke and Harmu Road. In view of the program, operation of buses, autos and e-rickshaws has also been prohibited on the major roads of the city. All types of city ride buses, autos and e-rickshaws will not ply from Booti Mod to Karamtoli Chowk via Bariatu, from Kanke Road to Chandni Chowk and Ratu Road, from Piska Mod to Ratu Road and from Sahajanand Chowk to Ratu Road. Vehicles related to essential services will operate normally.

Big vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city

Vehicles coming to Ranchi from Chaibasa and Khunti will be limited to Tupudana Ring Road, vehicles coming to Ranchi from Gumla, Simdega, Palamu and Lohardaga will be limited to Tilta Ring Road, vehicles coming to Ranchi from Jamshedpur and Seraikela will be limited to Rampur Chowk and vehicles coming to the city from Hazaribagh Road will be limited to Newari Roundabout. Will be able to enter. Apart from this, a dozen places have also been marked for parking of buses carrying didis.

Didis will get exposure, capacity building will increase

A camp-cum-women’s conference is being organized to increase the exposure and capacity building of the didis of volunteer groups formed by Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society under the Rural Development Department. Its objective is also to promote the activities of the group. Sisters of women’s groups from all 24 districts of the state will participate in the program to be held at Morhabadi ground from 12.30 pm.
