Jaipur : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday targeted the Congress government of Rajasthan, alleging that for it there is nothing bigger than corruption and it closes its eyes after seeing those committing atrocities against Dalits. Prime Minister Modi was addressing the election rally in Pali and then Pilibanga on Monday. On this occasion, he said that today the entire country is working hard day and night to achieve the goal of development. Rajasthan will play a huge role in the heights India will reach in the 21st century. Therefore, such a government is necessary in Rajasthan, which gives top priority to its development.
There is no one bigger than familyism in Congress
During his address, Prime Minister Modi said that unfortunately, the Congress government that has been in power in Rajasthan for the last five years has pushed the people further back in development. There is nothing bigger than corruption for the Congress government here. Familyism is everything for the Congress here. He alleged that ever since the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which provides reservation to women, was passed, they have started an indecent campaign against women. The leaders of the arrogant alliance have made objectionable comments against women.
Why don’t Congressmen speak against the Chief Minister of Bihar?
He said that the Chief Minister of Bihar used derogatory words towards women in the Assembly, but it is rare that any Congress leader has raised his voice against it. This is the real face of Congress, which the people of Rajasthan have recognized. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had recently made a ‘controversial’ comment in the state assembly while stressing on the importance of education among women to control the population. However, he later apologized for that.
Congress turns a blind eye to atrocities against Dalits
The Prime Minister also accused Congress of turning a blind eye to incidents of atrocities against Dalits. He said that Congress closes its eyes after seeing those who commit atrocities against Dalits. Congress colleagues talk about ending Sanatan
Prime Minister Modi further said that Congress and its allies are announcing to destroy Sanatan, whereas destroying Sanatan means destroying the culture of Rajasthan. Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had created controversy in September by alleging that Sanatana Dharma was against social justice and hence should be abolished.
Congress government responsible behind expensive petrol in Rajasthan
Holding the ruling Congress government responsible for the high prices of petrol in the state, Modi said that petrol prices will be reviewed after the formation of the BJP government. He said that the Rajasthan government is selling petrol at a higher price than neighboring BJP ruled Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. The Prime Minister said that during the Congress rule, tax was levied on annual income of Rs 2 lakh, but now no tax is levied on income up to Rs 7 lakh. He said that Rs 2.5 lakh crore has been saved due to reduction in direct taxes.
Rajasthan government is doing appeasement politics
Modi alleged that the Congress government here thinks of nothing but appeasement. What is the effect of appeasement politics, Rajasthan has faced it in the last five years.
