Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav is on a tour of Japan. In this sequence, on Thursday, he inaugurated the pavilion of the Tourism Department of Bihar Government at the official beginning of Tourism Expo-2023, Osaka, Japan today. While addressing the expo, Tejashwi Yadav invited Japanese tourists to visit Bihar. During this, he said that all of you are welcome to Bihar, the historical places passing through which Prince Siddhartha walked, meditated and attained the knowledge of Buddha. The roots of civilization and culture here are deep. It is the birthplace of many religions. Here tourists will find a treasure of history.
While giving information about the tourist places related to the Buddhist Circuit, Tejashwi said that the Bihar government is developing the Buddhist Circuit. He said that among the Buddhist sites, Bodh Gaya holds great importance for all the Buddhists who visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Mahabodhi Temple. Visiting the ruins of Nalanda University, another UNESCO World Heritage Site on the same circuit, will be an unforgettable experience for all of you.
Before this, he also jointly inaugurated the Incredible India and Bihar Pavilion at the Jata Travel Show. Where international branding of tourist places of Bihar will take place for the next four days.

And in West Champaran they are attracting tourists by making Amvaman a center of water sports.
Tourism Secretary said that there are many picturesque waterfalls in Rohtas and Kaimur districts which attract nature lovers, apart from creating facilities there, the Tourism Department is making continuous efforts towards developing many other destinations along with river cruise and water sports activities.
