Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ayodhya on Saturday. Here an 8 km long road show was organized from Maharishi Valmiki International Airport to Ayodhya Dham Junction. PM Modi left the highway from gate number 3 of the airport.
During this, saints and mahants welcomed PM Modi at various places with Swasti reading, Ramdhun and shankhnaad. A crowd of more than one lakh standing on both sides of the road kept showering flowers on Modi’s road show. PM Modi was coming out of the car and greeting people by waving hands.
During this time people were excited to get a glimpse of PM Modi. During this, PM Modi reached the house of Dalit Meera, resident of Rajghat, Ayodhya. PM Modi met Nishad family. PM Modi also met the family of Ravindra Manjhi. PM Modi invited him to participate in the Pran Pratistha program of Ram Lalla.
After this, PM Modi inaugurated the new building of Ayodhya Dham Junction. Also flagged off 2 Amrit Bharat and 6 Vande Bharat Express running from Ayodhya and other stations.
During this, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present with him. According to the PMO, developed at a cost of over Rs 240 crore, the three-storey modern railway station building is equipped with all modern amenities like lifts, escalators, food plaza, shops for puja needs, cloak room, child care room, waiting hall .
The station building will be ‘accessible for all’ and ‘IGBC certified green station building’. PM Modi met school children in the new Amrit Bharat train. Apart from this, he met women from Sitamarhi and devotees from Raxaul. Also communicated with him. Also spoke to the engineers of IFS Chennai, which manufactures Amrit Bharat train. The girl students recited a poem to PM Modi. The women of Sitamarhi presented Madhubani painting. The PM greeted everyone with folded hands.
