Latehar: Criminals looted one lakh rupees in cash and scooter (JH01FA-2234) from Bharat Finance woman employee Nancy Pandey at 3:30 pm on Wednesday. The incident took place on Ichak-Pochra main road under Sadar police station area. According to the information, the female employee of Bharat Finance was coming back to Latehar from Pochara village after collecting the loan installment from the self-help group for her company.
In this sequence, two youths were walking on the middle of the road near the pond on Ichak-Pochra main road. To remove both the youths from the road, the female employee sounded the horn of the scooter, but they did not move from the road. As soon as they reached near, both the youth snatched the scooter. A bike was also running behind the two youths. After the robbery, the said youth fled with the money and scooter. The police have started investigating the matter.
