In this series, BJP can announce the name of the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh today. Apart from CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, names of many other leaders are included in the CM race. The newly elected MLAs of BJP are going to hold a meeting today i.e. on Monday to elect the leader of the legislative party. It is expected that after the meeting the name of the CM will be approved. It is noteworthy that BJP has retained power in Madhya Pradesh by winning 163 seats in the 230-member assembly.
Three BJP observers reached Bhopal
Churning is going on in BJP regarding the post of CM in Madhya Pradesh. Regarding this, three central observers of BJP including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar have reached Bhopal on Monday to participate in the meeting of newly elected party MLAs and decide on the next Chief Minister of the state. Party’s central observer Manohar Lal Khattar, OBC Morcha chief K Laxman and secretary Asha Lakra have reached Bhopal.
CM’s name may be approved today
It is noteworthy that BJP has approved the name of CM in Chhattisgarh, the party is now brainstorming on the new CM of Madhya Pradesh. The three observers have also reached the party office. There will be a meeting of BJP’s legislative party. In this meeting the MLAs will be informed about the Chief Minister of the state. The process of MLAs reaching BJP office continues. Here, through posters in support of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, his supporters are appealing to make him the CM. Jyotiraditya Scindia is also one of the strong contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Apart from this, the strong contenders for the post of CM include Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Patel, Kailash Vijayvargiya and many other names.
