MP Election 2023: ‘These people have come to cheat again’, CM Shivraj’s sarcasm on the promises of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi

MP Election 2023: After the announcement of assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Congress and BJP have become more attacking on each other. In this sequence, State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has made a strong attack on Congress. He said that they had many promises… these people stopped bicycles and laptops… these people put the meritorious student scheme on hold. Couldn’t even pay children’s fees. Now they are saying that they will give free houses…these people have come to cheat again. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan reacted to the election promises made by Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and said that I have seen the video where announcements were made from Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday. He made many announcements but he asked him to make one more announcement…he promised that education from class 1 to 12 will be free. Kamal Nath asked him to improve… After that, he announced annual allowance. Surjewala again corrected them that it is monthly, not annual… They are lying for votes.

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan further said that earlier also Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had promised that all loans would be waived off… he is being forced to make false promises. This is the policy of Congress to get votes by confusing people… They are here again to cheat people… Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are continuously lying but the public knows everything.

Priyanka guaranteed to provide free education and allowance to children

Let us discuss here that Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday has promised to give allowance to the students along with free education till class 12th in the election state Madhya Pradesh. Voting is to be held in the state on November 17. Earlier, while addressing a rally in Mandla district, Priyanka Gandhi launched a strong attack on the BJP government and also reiterated the promise of caste census, while also claiming that Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and tribals will be given jobs commensurate with their share in the population. Can’t find it. The Congress general secretary announced several ‘guarantees’ including implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for government employees by the Congress if it comes to power in the state. He said that not only free education will be provided to the students from class one to class 12th but under the Padho Aur Padhao scheme, Rs 500 will be given to the students of class one to eight, Rs 1,000 to the children of class eight to ten and Rs. Children of class 11th and 12th will be given Rs 1,500 per month.

Result of 2018 assembly elections

It is noteworthy that the Election Commission has recently announced the dates of assembly elections of 5 states including Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, elections will be held for all 200 seats in a single phase on November 17. These elections are being seen as a semi-final before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. If we look at the 2018 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, no party got a clear majority in this election. Congress won 114 seats and formed a coalition government under the leadership of Kamal Nath with the support of SP, BSP and independent MLAs. However, in March 2020, the Kamal Nath government fell due to the rebellion of his supporting MLAs from the Congress under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia.
