Major action of ACB in Chatra and Palamu

Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has taken action against corruption in Chatra and Palamu. ACB has arrested two government employees for taking bribe. The first incident is from Patan in Palamu where a revenue employee has been arrested from Patan block while taking a bribe of Rs 7 thousand. According to the information, he was demanding money from a person in the name of land mutation. The second incident is from Chatra. Where Dariatu Panchayat servant cum public servant Ajay Sao has been arrested for taking bribe of Rs. 5,000.

Panchayat servant was demanding commission

He was arrested near the post office. Actually the matter is that PCC road is being constructed near Asadhiya Devi Mandap of Dariatu Panchayat of Chatra. The road construction is being done from the 15th Finance at a cost of Rs 2 lakh 10 thousand. Regarding this, Panchayat servant Ajay Sao was continuously demanding five percent commission of about Rs 10 thousand. Complaint about which was made to ACB Hazaribagh. The ACB team investigated this matter. After which the team laid a trap to arrest him. After this, she was caught red-handed taking bribe and took her with her to Hazaribagh.

Panic created among bribe takers

After this action, there is a stir among the officers and employees who took bribe. Let it be known that the trend of taking bribe in exchange for work in the district is not showing any signs of stopping. Although action is being taken from time to time, yet the process of taking bribe is not showing any signs of stopping.
