Kharge and Rahul held meeting with Bihar Congress leaders, emphasis on seat sharing
The Congress leadership held a meeting with senior leaders of its Bihar unit on Tuesday, in which it was decided to move forward with an action plan with an emphasis on reconciling seat sharing with allies. In this meeting held at the Congress headquarters, the situation of the organization in Bihar, election preparations and seat distribution were discussed. Leaders of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee will present their views in the party’s National Alliance Committee meeting on December 29 and on the basis of that, this committee will hold talks with Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal (United) regarding seat sharing. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former President Rahul Gandhi, Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal, Bihar in-charge Mohan Prakash, State Congress Committee President Akhilesh Prasad Singh and many other leaders were present in the meeting.
