Koderma: Dhibra workers will stage indefinite strike from 12th February.

Koderma Market: Protest has started against the continuous administrative action being taken against the business of Dhibra. From 12th February, Dhibra workers will hold an indefinite strike in protest against the administration. The above decision was taken in the meeting of Dhibra Scrap Mazdoor Union at Modi Varnwal Dharamshala on Friday. The meeting was presided over by union president Krishna Singh Ghatwar. In the meeting, the administration took action regarding Dhibra and There was discussion about saving the Dhibra business. Krishna Ghatwar said that the administration is continuously attacking the employment of Dhibra laborers, due to which the crisis of hunger and unemployment facing the Dhibra laborers has deepened.

He said that Dhibra is the identity of Koderma, but the administration is trying to erase the identity of Koderma. In the name of taking action, the administration is treating Dhibra laborers like criminals. It is the responsibility of the government to decide the policy regarding Dhibra and MICA. The government has taken action regarding Dhibra. Rules were brought in 2021, but the administration has not yet been able to implement this rule on the ground, whereas lakhs of poor people are associated with Dhibra business. He said that due to administrative action, Dhibra business has completely come to a standstill and the administration has maintained silence in the matter of implementing the policy.

In such a situation, agitation is the only way out for the workers. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to hold an indefinite strike in front of the Collectorate from 12th February. On the occasion, Ritlal Singh, Mohammad Islam, Suraj Sharma, Ashish Sao, Chhotan Yadav, Dinesh Yadav, Sikandar Yadav, Many Dhibra laborers including Vijay Gupta, Dilip Rana, Sanjay Yadav, Virendra Singh, Jassu Rana, Pankaj Kumar, Gango Sharma, Karu Turia, Ishwari Bhuiyan, Gulshan Munda, Ravindra Munda were present.
