Kanpur News: IIT Kanpur has created an application named ‘Sathi’, with the help of which students of class 11 and 12 will now be able to prepare for exams including JEE and NEET. CBSE will have to give this information to schools across the country. Teachers will have to give such homework to the children, so that they get interested in doing its assessment work. It has been said that schools should be alert from those teachers who teach in coaching. They may be indifferent to it. In this regard, IIT Kanpur held an online review meeting, so that students could be informed about it. It mainly included Professor S Ganesh, Acting Director of IIT, Secretary of Higher Education Ministry K. Sanjay Murthy, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education Govind Jaiswal, Principal Investigator, fellow project Professor Amey Karkare, Director (Examination) of CBSE Dr. Bishwajit Singh and Dr. Nidhi from KV and officials of all boards and institutions participated in it.
Will be able to prepare for JEE in a better way
During the meeting, senior officials of IIT Kanpur displayed it online. Told that it is easy for students to register for this. In this, experts have prepared lectures. Apart from this, practice paper and method of assessment has also been explained. Students can become proficient in it in just three months. Students who are in class 11 and 12 can get a chance to prepare for JEE along with the exam. ‘Sathi’ will also help you prepare for NEET. It has been launched in languages like Hindi, English, Telugu, Oriya etc.
Beware of coaching hawk teachers
The Secretary told the Director (Examination) of CBSE that monitoring should also be done in the schools so that the teachers teaching coaching should not remain indifferent. He asked how the information will be sent to the schools so that the eco system is maintained in the schools. The Secretary said that children should also be told that mock tests are also included in this. It was also clarified that many states conduct tests at their own level. In such a situation, these lectures can be useful for them also.
