Ranchi: On behalf of the ED regarding the conspiracy against the ED officials on behalf of the accused in the money laundering case and the raid in Birsa Munda Central Jail, Ranchi. Jharkhand High Court A sealed report was presented. A sealed report was presented by the ED before the division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra and Justice Anand Sen. After seeing this, the division bench asked the ED’s counsel whether it could share this sealed report with the state government or not. On this, after taking instructions from ED, instructions were given to file a counter affidavit.
Next hearing on December 15
The division bench fixed December 15 for the next hearing of the case. Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan and Advocate Piyush Chitresh presented the case on behalf of the state government. During the last hearing, the division bench had directed the ED to submit a sealed report in the case. It is noteworthy that earlier during the hearing of Shivshankar Sharma’s PIL, the issue of conspiracy against ED officials by the jailed money laundering accused was raised before the court. The court was told that after receiving the complaint, ED officials had raided Birsa Munda Central Jail. The court had sought a report from the ED on the entire matter.
