Bareilly: The Income Tax Department raided the residence and office of businessman and contractor Ramesh Gangwar in Bareilly, Lucknow and Kashipur on Wednesday. Ramesh is associated with construction and many other businesses. He is also said to be related to many leaders and bureaucrats. This raid has created a stir among those close to the contractor. Lucknow team has been deployed in the raid. This raid is also being linked to the Lok Sabha elections.
Raid at a total of seven locations
It is being told that Ramesh Gangwar has a firm named Satyasai Billergs. On Wednesday, the Income Tax Department team had reached his office at Didipuram in Premnagar police station area. Apart from this, raids are also going on at their seven other locations. Before this, the GST department team had also investigated Ramesh Gangwar’s firm.
