Kanpur : Nawabganj Police has registered an FIR after receiving the complaint regarding ragging of a junior student in Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology. According to police officials, this matter has already been discussed with the Registrar of CSA and he is conducting an investigation. The police has also started investigation into this. According to the officials, action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light. Ravikant, a student living in room number 24 of Tilak hostel, has lodged a report in Nawabganj police station against two senior students Abhishek Dwivedi and Pushpendra Kushwaha. DCP Central Pramod Kumar Told that on the complaint of the victim, an FIR has been registered against both the accused students under the sections of assault, public insult and threatening to kill.

The student narrated his ordeal to the committee

Actually, the victim student was standing outside the room after studying. Then two senior students came and asked to go inside the room. When they refused, they started abusing.
