Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, arrested by ED, was allowed by the High Court to appear in the floor test. After which ED officials brought Hemant Soren to the Assembly under tight security. Hemant Soren expressed his views in favor of the trust vote of the new Chief Minister of the state Champai Soren. During this, on Monday (5 February), he said that for the first time in the country, a Chief Minister was arrested on the dark night of 31 January. I am not aware that any Chief Minister has ever been arrested like this before. He also targeted Raj Bhavan and made serious allegations. He said that I will not shed tears, I will give a befitting reply when the time comes. He also said that if the allegations leveled against him on land scam were true, he would leave Jharkhand.
