Government will start Vishwakarma Yojana from September 17, PM Modi announced from Red Fort

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to implement Vishwakarma scheme in India from next month on the occasion of 77th Independence Day from the ramparts of Red Fort. About 13,000 to 15,000 rupees will be allocated by the government for this scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ will be launched on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti next month to give new strength to many communities of Other Backward Classes (OBC). He said that next month Vishwakarma scheme will be launched with an allocation of Rs 13,000 to 15,000 crore for people with traditional skills. Let us inform that Vishwakarma Puja is performed every year on 17 September in India. Its Vishwakarma Day is also called. The central government will start Vishwakarma Yojana from 17 September 2023 for people having traditional skills.

Lakhs of businessmen and artisans will be uplifted

Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 77th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Vishwakarma scheme would be an important step for the upliftment of lakhs of businessmen and artisans of India. Mentioning some professional works, the Prime Minister said that most of the people engaged in these works are from the OBC community. Modi said that to give new strength to these people, Vishwakarma Yojana will be started with about 13-15 thousand crore rupees on the coming Vishwakarma Jayanti.

2.5 lakh crore deposited in account through PM Kisan

In his address to the nation, Prime Minister Modi further said that we have deposited Rs 2.5 lakh crore in the farmers’ accounts through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. We have spent Rs 2 lakh crore on the Jal Jeevan Mission to ensure that pure water reaches every household. We have spent 70 thousand crore rupees under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, so that the poor get medicines and get proper treatment. We have spent about 15 thousand crore rupees for vaccination to save livestock. Such family members who live in cities, live in rented houses, if such family members who want to build a house, it has been decided to give relief within the interest of the loan they will get from the bank.

Steps to be taken to reduce inflation
