First signature on caste census as soon as government is formed in Delhi, 15,000 in women’s account: Rahul Gandhi

Bemetara (Chhattisgarh): Former Congress President and party general secretary Rahul Gandhi has given a big statement on caste census on Wednesday. While addressing the crowd at an election rally organized in Bemetara, Chhattisgarh, he said that when his government is formed in Delhi, the first thing he will do will be to sign the caste census. He said that caste census will be the biggest revolutionary step after independence. Along with this, he also said that Rs 15,000 will be deposited in the accounts of women every month. Apart from this, the loans of farmers and not of billionaires will be waived off.

OBC and Dalits will get participation

Addressing an election rally held in Bemetara district of poll-bound Chhattisgarh, Rahul Gandhi, without naming the BJP, said that when it comes to giving rights to OBCs, they say there are no OBCs. Only one caste is poor in India. He said that there are OBCs in India and we will find out how many there are. Be it 10, 20 or 60 percent, we will find out. He said that whatever will be the OBC population in the country, they will get equal participation.

Loans of farmers, not billionaires, will be waived off

Rahul Gandhi further said in his statement that if the loans are waived off, it will be for the farmers. There will be no loan waiver for any billionaire. He said that whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi does this or not, but if our government is formed in Chhattisgarh, then caste survey will be conducted here. Along with this, he also said that when our government is formed in Delhi, the first signature will be on the caste census.

Rs 15,000 in women’s account

He said that the day the OBCs, Dalits and tribals of the country will know their real population and strength, the country will change forever. Conducting caste census will be the most revolutionary decision after independence. He said that the state government will deposit Rs 15,000 in the accounts of all the women of every state.

Free education from KG to PG

Rahul Gandhi further said that Chhattisgarh government, in a historic decision, has made education free from KG to PG. Let us tell you that the second phase of Chhattisgarh assembly elections is to be held on Friday. The first phase of elections in the state was completed on 7 November. Whereas in Rajasthan, voting will be held on 25th November. Currently, Congress is in power in both these states.
