ED goes only where there is corruption… Union Minister Nityanand Rai on questioning of Lalu and Tejashwi

Enforcement Directorate (Ed) On Monday, he interrogated RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav for about 10 hours in the land-in-lieu-of-job case. On Tuesday, ED is interrogating former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. During this time, the security of the ED office has been increased as a crowd of RJD supporters has gathered outside the office. Here, reacting to ED’s investigation against Lalu-Tejashwi, BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said that ED goes only where there is corruption.

ED goes where corruption happens: Nityanand Rai

Nityanand Rai said that yesterday ED interrogated Lalu Prasad Yadav and today Tejashwi Yadav is being interrogated, where does ED go? ED goes where there is corruption and these people have committed corruption. He said that the work done by Lalu Yadav and his family in taking land from the poor in exchange of jobs will definitely be investigated.

BJP has nothing to do with ED investigation: Nityanand Rai

On the allegation by the opposition leaders of getting the ED inquiry done out of revenge against the BJP, Rai said that the allegations leveled against the BJP are false. BJP had not opened the file of fodder scam. Who was in power when the fodder scam case was handed over to CBI? Who was in power when the FIR was filed? If Congress was there, then why is BJP being blamed? The allegations being leveled against BJP are wrong. ED is an independent investigative unit and is doing its work. BJP has nothing to do with this.

Lalu Prasad will have to suffer the consequences of his actions: BJP

BJP state spokesperson Prabhakar Kumar Mishra also attacked Lalu Prasad Yadav and said that Lalu Yadav will have to suffer the consequences of his actions. He always misused his power and indulged in corruption. Everyone gets the fruits of his good and bad deeds. Lalu Prasad is also getting the fruits of his actions. Mishra said that Lalu Prasad is not cooperating with ED in the Land for Job case, this clearly shows that he is in trouble. If Lalu has not committed any crime in this case, then he should give a direct answer to ED’s questions.

ED is interrogating Tejashwi Yadav

It is noteworthy that Tejashwi Yadav is being interrogated today in ED’s Patna office. A team of about 12 officers came to Patna from Delhi ED headquarters on Monday for questioning in the Land for Job case. Where on Monday he interrogated Lalu Yadav continuously for about 10 hours. He was also being given food and medicine from time to time. During interrogation, ED asked Lalu Prasad more than 60 questions in different ways related to the land-for-job scam. Lalu Prasad answered all the questions thoughtfully.

what is the matter

When Lalu Prasad was the Railway Minister, between 2004 and 2009, many people were given jobs in Group-D after taking land in various railway divisions. The land from the job takers was transferred to the name of the family members of the then Railway Minister Lalu Prasad and a related company, AK Infosystems Private Limited. ED had earlier claimed in a statement that Katyal was the director of this company. The registered address of the company is D-1088, New Friends Colony, New Delhi, which is the residence of Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members.
