Discussion on organizational strength
In the meeting of the Extended Working Committee of the Congress, the strategy for the next Lok Sabha as well as assembly elections of Telangana and five states, strengthening the organization and many other issues were discussed in depth. Earlier on Saturday, the first meeting of the reconstituted working committee of the party was held. Apart from the working committee members, special invitee members, permanent invitee members, presidents of state units of the party, legislative party leaders, parliamentary party officials and members of the Central Election Committee were included in the expanded working committee. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former presidents Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh in the extended working committee meeting today i.e. Sunday. Singh Sukhu, President of state units of Congress and many other senior leaders of the party attended.
