BJP contests from MP in UP-Bihar, will Mohan Yadav increase the problems of Lalu-Akhilesh?

Rajesh Kumar Ojha

BJP has made Mohan Yadav the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Actually, Mohan Yadav is a senior BJP leader and BJP MLA from Ujjain South. He has a long standing relationship with the Sangh. But, BJP has increased the political turmoil in Bihar and UP by making Mohan Yadav the CM of the state. Along with this, an attempt has also been made to sabotage the strategy of political parties which are targeting OBC vote bank on the pretext of caste census.

Why did BJP choose OBC CM?

By making Mohan Yadav the Chief Minister, BJP has hit many targets simultaneously. First of all, Congress and other opposition parties have tried to blunt the OBC issue. Along with this, BJP has also tried to spoil the strategy of political parties by exploiting the OBC vote bank in the name of caste census. Along with this, BJP has also played this gamble keeping in view the Lok Sabha elections. It is being said that there are about 50 percent OBC voters in Madhya Pradesh. BJP had given tickets to 68 OBC leaders, out of which 44 have won. Similarly, Congress had given tickets to 59 OBC leaders, but only 16 have won. Similarly, in 72 seats of the state, the OBC population is more than 40 percent. BJP has won 50 of these in the assembly elections. These 72 assembly seats fall in 20 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state. BJP is trying to solve this also. Political pundits say that this decision of BJP can be a profitable deal for it. BJP may get the benefit of OBC Chief Minister’s bet in Lok Sabha elections.

Madhya Pradesh will get benefits in Bihar and UP

Along with this, BJP has also tried to send a message to the leaders of Yadav vote bank in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh through its decision that you are not the only one who has the right on this vote bank. We also have Yadav leaders. The biggest contenders for Yadav vote bank in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are Lalu Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav. There are 120 Lok Sabha seats in these two states. This is very important from the point of view of the central government. In these two states, most of the Yadav votes go to the parties of Lalu Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav. You can say that Lalu and Akhilesh Yadav have sole rule over the Yadav voters of these two states. It is because of these Yadav voters that the politics of both the leaders runs in both the states.

Most Yadavs in Bihar

In the recent caste survey conducted in Bihar, Yadav is the most populous caste. Therefore, their importance increases in terms of votes in Bihar. BJP has also tried to give a political message in Bihar with the help of Mohan Yadav. BJP would like to increase its communication with the voters of Bihar-UP only with their help.
