CM is trying to conduct caste census across the country: Lalan
JDU National President Lalan Singh said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is trying to conduct caste-based census across the country. Earlier also the team of eleven MPs had met Home Minister Amit Shah and demanded caste census. But the government rejected it outright. However, later the Chief Minister decided to get the caste census done from the state fund. The BJP government and the BJP people in Bihar are deliberately trying to create hurdles in it.
‘The Center copied the plans of Bihar’
Lalan Singh directly attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of copying the schemes of Bihar by the central government. He said that the Prime Minister was inspired by several public welfare schemes run in Bihar under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and implemented it across the country. These schemes are helping the downtrodden, backward and weak people of the society. Their development is also possible in the society and they are getting proper rights and participation. Seeing the utility of caste enumeration, many states are now taking interest in it.
