His wife Vijeeta said, when this work was given (to Yogiraj), we came to know that suitable stone for this was available near Mysuru. However, that stone was very hard. Its sharp layer pierced his eye and it was removed through operation. Even during pain he did not stop and continued working.

The statue of Ramlala is 51 inches

The divine idol of Ramlala installed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple is 51 inches tall. The idol of Ramlala is made of stone. The stone is special in many ways. There will be no change in the stone even after bathing with milk. There will be no change in the statue for more than a thousand years.

Yogiraj’s guru was his father, he also made the statue of Shankaracharya.

Yogiraj learned the nuances of sculpture from his father. Yogiraj himself has created the statue of Adi Shankaracharya installed in Kedarnath and the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose installed near India Gate in Delhi.

According to the trust, the temple is being constructed in traditional Nagara style whose length (east-west) is 380 feet, width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet. The temple is three storeyed, each storey being 20 feet high. It has a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
