10 lakh people will get jobs in Bihar and 10 lakh will get employment, CM Nitish Kumar announced

Eight lakh people will be given employment and government jobs in Bihar within a year. CM Nitish Kumar said in the Bihar Assembly on Tuesday that the state government will fulfill its promise of providing 10 lakh jobs and 10 lakh employment before the 2025 assembly elections. He said that police forces will also be reinstated in the state. After which the number of police forces will increase to 2 lakh 27 thousand. At present their number is one lakh 10 thousand. First 5 lakh 35 thousand people were given jobs and employment was also given.

Development was done by making seven decisions

Addressing the House, the Chief Minister said that from 2005-10 and 2010 to 2015, development work was done by taking seven decisions. During the time of Corona, employment arrangements were made for the people. People were asked to work while staying in their homes. Arrangement of 50 percent reservation for women in Panchayats was made which was discussed across the country.

There was a conspiracy to eliminate the most backward class

CM said that in 1978, the then CM Karpoori Thakur also created the most backward class among the backward classes and gave reservation to both. Pointing towards RJD, he said that later there was a conspiracy to eliminate backward and extremely backward classes and keep only backward classes. We strongly opposed this and said that we will not tolerate it.

Target to provide 10 lakh employment and jobs to 10 lakh people

The Chief Minister said that under Saat Nishchay Part Two, we have set a target of providing 10 lakh employment and jobs to ten lakh people. We will complete the target of providing jobs before the upcoming assembly elections. More than ten lakh government jobs will be given.

CM said that the number of police force in 2005 was around 42 thousand 781. After this their number was increased to one lakh 10 thousand. The process of appointment to about 21 thousand 391 posts is going on. Now the strength of the police force will be increased to 2 lakh 27.

Number of personnel increased in education and health departments

Referring to the low number of personnel in the education, health and agriculture departments, the Chief Minister said that their number was also increased. This has improved the system. In 2005, only 29 patients came to OPD in a month in primary health centres. Now 11 thousand patients come every day. We worked. He said that we built bridges, culverts and roads. With this, currently one can reach Patna from remote areas in about six hours, whereas in the future, the time limit to reach there has been fixed at five hours.
