Zomato, an online food supply company, has said amid criticism for starting a separate service for the supply of vegetarian products, that all its employees will be seen only in red costumes like before.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal said in a post on social media platform
Goyal said, we are continuing to introduce a separate squad for vegetarian customers but we have decided to remove the distinction based on the color of the costumes. The members of both our normal squad and vegetarian squad will be in red colored costumes.

In fact, there was opposition on social media against Zomato’s decision to create a separate squad for the supply of vegetarian products. People said that there could be a dispute regarding allowing the suppliers to enter the residential society on the basis of red and green colors. After this, Zomato has changed this decision.
Goyal said that with all the drivers dressed only in red, there would be no difference between the suppliers of vegetarian or non-vegetarian products. However, these two sections will continue to appear separately on the company’s app. (with language input)
