Zero Shadow Day: Today the shadow will leave the person’s side, know the reason behind it

Gorakhpur: There are many incidents on earth which happen only occasionally. Some of these are due to the rotation of the Earth around its axis and the Sun. These include many astronomical events like solar eclipse, lunar eclipse. One of these events is Zero Shadow Day. Today is Zero Shadow Day. But it will not have any effect on Uttar Pradesh including Gorakhpur.

Classes will be held by experts regarding the special day at Nakshatra Shala in Gorakhpur. Today such a time will also come when the shadow will not be with the person for some time. This will happen because of a wonderful astronomical event. Its effect will not be in Uttar Pradesh, but this will be an opportunity when we will be able to get information about this incident. It is also called Zero Shadow Day in English.

The class of experts will run on the special day in the constellation

In Veer Bahadur Singh Planetarium of Gorakhpur, arrangements have been made to run regular classes on Friday to give information about this. Interested people and people coming to see the show in the planetarium can become a part of this class, they can get information about it. When the sun comes above the head and people do not see their shadow, then it is called Zero Shadow Day. According to Astronomer Amar Singh of the Planetarium, such a day is called Zero Shadow Day in the world of astronomy.

He told that the same situation is not created everywhere on the earth. The rays of the sun have to fall vertically on some places on the earth for some time. In such a situation, the shadow of any person or thing gets absorbed in it without looking here and there, due to which it is not visible to anyone. The Tropic of Cancer passes through India. That’s why the incident that happened on Friday can be seen only from some places in South India.

Its time in Bangalore is 12:24 pm. Next time this astronomical phenomenon will be seen on September 1 this year only at places like Kanyakumari, Kundanukulam, Katchal, Nagercoil etc. Astronomers said that this phenomenon occurs twice a year, once when the Sun is in Uttarayan and the second time when the Sun is in Dakshinayan because the Earth is tilted on its axis at 23.5 latitude.

The reason for this is that it is formed only between 23.5 latitude to -23.5 latitude. That is why this situation is created at different times in different places of the earth. At the same time, the astronomer told that its appearance depends on the latitude and longitude. This phenomenon occurs only in those places which are between or around the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn.
