Chhapra. On Sunday morning, near Mehiya Overbridge of Gadkha police station area on Patna Fourlane Bypass, criminals shot a student leader of Upendra Kushwaha’s party RLJ in broad daylight. The student leader who was seriously injured by the bullet has been identified as Utsav Kumar Singh. Utsav Singh was taken to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for treatment. After first aid, the doctors referred him to PMCH. Utsav Singh has been shot in the neck and stomach and his condition is said to be critical.
Shot inside the servicing center
A young man who was getting his car serviced under the four-lane Mehiya bridge of Gadkha police station area was shot by criminals after entering the servicing centre. After the shooting, all the criminals fled from the spot. At the same time, the local people brought the injured to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the doctor on duty, Dr. Meraj Alam, referred him to Patna in view of his serious condition. The injured is said to be Utsav Singh, son of late Brijesh Singh, resident of Bhainsmara village of Gadkha police station area. Meanwhile, RLJD has demanded the resignation of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav over the deadly attack on student leader Utsav Singh.
The young man came to get the car washed
According to the information, the young man had come to the Sainik Servicing Center on Sunday morning to get his car washed. After this the criminals also reached there after a few minutes. After that, two criminals remained sitting on the motorcycle, while two criminals went near the festival and started firing indiscriminately. A total of five rounds were fired, out of which two bullets hit Utsav. Whereas, one bullet hit the water tank kept nearby.
Criminals left after confirmation of death
Eyewitnesses said that after shooting, the criminals shook Utsav’s body to see whether he was alive or dead. Only after this the criminals ran away from there. At the same time, Utsav was also involved in the purchase and sale of land. At the same time, people told that after the murder of his father, he was also provided with a bodyguard. However, no one was present with him on the day of the incident.
Police examining CCTV footage
As soon as information about the incident was received, Gadkha police station incharge Arun Kumar Singh along with his team reached Sadar Hospital, where he got information regarding the incident. After this he reached the spot and collected information. Police have recovered three shells from the spot. The police is also examining the CCTV footage installed in the shops around the incident site. However, no success was achieved till late evening.

It is noteworthy that the four lanes under Mufassil police station and Gadkha police station are considered safe zones for criminals from the very beginning. Every day, criminals easily escape from here after committing many incidents. However, police patrolling is done regularly in these areas. But, despite this, the criminals are so fearless that they are committing murder and robbery every day. Six months ago, criminals had also shot the owner of a water park in the same area. Also, three months ago, criminals had tried to rob a teacher, in which the teacher was seriously injured.
The criminals were two in number
Local people have told that the number of criminals who came to commit the crime was two, who had arrived riding on a bike. He got down from the bike near the incident site and started firing. Didn’t even get a chance to organize the celebration. As soon as the bullet hit, Utsav fell on the ground. The criminals easily escaped thinking that Utsav Singh was dead. Utsav Singh has a chimney near his village. Apart from this, some people say that he is also involved in land business. There is a suspicion that some crime may have been committed due to enmity. The exact reasons for the incident are not yet known. Police is investigating at all points.
The festival used to run with bouncers and bodyguards.
Utsav always had bouncers and bodyguards. He never walked alone. However, it is not known whether he was alone at the time of the incident or his bouncer or bodyguard was with him. Well, some people say that he was alone. If his guards and bouncers were with him, the criminals would not have been able to commit the crime.

Meanwhile, RLJD national president Upendra Kushwaha demanded immediate arrest of the criminals who shot at the party’s youth leader Utsav Singh. Party’s state general secretary and spokesperson Rampukar Sinha said that injured Utsav Singh is undergoing treatment in Patna. Right now he is fighting to save his life. He alleged that the state government wants to suppress the voice of the opposition. At the same time, party’s state president and former MLA Ramesh Singh Kushwaha and state youth cell president Himanshu Patel demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.
