Youth dies in Ghaziabad police custody, relatives allege murder

Ghaziabad. Big news is coming out from Ghaziabad district of UP. Where a young man has died in police custody. The police had picked up the deceased youth Dilshad for questioning on the complaint of molestation. The relatives have accused the police of beating and murder. At the same time, the police say that the death occurred due to a road accident while being brought from Indirapuram to Vijayanagar police station. Enraged by the death, the relatives created a ruckus at the Vijayanagar police station and the mortuary. Naushad, the younger brother of the deceased youth, told that Dilshad along with his father used to dry clean the uniforms of the policemen. He used to wash the uniforms of Abhaykhand Chowki and Vijayanagar police. The in-charge posted at Abhaykhand outpost called Dilshad on Monday afternoon. He had said to give his uniform and go back. When he reached the Abhaykhand police post at around 2 pm with the uniform, the outpost in-charge made him sit.

Family alleges murder

Dilshad had sent his purse and belt home through an acquaintance and had told to return in a while, after that he did not return home. When he reached Abhaykhand Chowki in the evening with his family, the police did not give the correct information about his brother. When the police did not give the correct information, the family kept going around the police station for several hours. After this, it was told by the policemen that Dilshad had met with an accident and he was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. At night, it was told by the Vijayanagar police that Dilshad had died. Dilshad’s mother and brother Naushad allege that he did not die in an accident. Dilshad has injury marks on his stomach. He has been beaten up. He was killed by hitting his head.

Police made theory, Cantor died due to collision

Dilshad’s brother Naushad says that the canter i.e. mini truck which the police is claiming to have collided with has been standing outside the police station for two days. Naushad says that the police is now fabricating the story. The police have killed his brother in custody. In this case, DCP City Nipun Aggarwal said that a complaint letter was received against Dilshad from a Vijayanagar girl. On Monday, he was being brought from Indirapuram to Vijayanagar for questioning. The car in which he was being brought had an accident with a canter. During interrogation of the police team, it has been revealed that at the time of the accident, Dilshad had opened the door of the car to spit outside. During this, he collided with the canter and suffered a head injury. The family’s allegation is wrong. Dilshad died in the accident.
