On Saturday evening, criminals riding a bike shot dead the younger brother of the former MLA of Lalganj and Chairman of the Municipal Council Lalganj in the market located by-pass of Lalganj police station area of Hajipur. The criminals fired more than two dozen rounds at him. Deceased Mukesh Sah was the son of Rajendra Sah, resident of Shahpur Qasim of Lalganj police station area. The deceased’s brother Rajkumar Sah had been the state vice president of Lok Janshakti (Ram Vilas) and MLA from Lalganj. One of his brothers, Kanchan Kumar Sah, is the Chairman of Municipal Council Lalganj. There is chaos among the family members after this incident. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and Sadar Hospital. Police have recovered a large number of bullet shells from the incident site.
Four criminals riding two bikes shot him
According to the information received, at around five o’clock on Saturday evening, Mukesh along with four-five companions were standing near the shop of Naresh Kushwaha, the former head of Kamalpur, in Lalganj bypass. Meanwhile, four criminals riding on two bikes arrived from Maharana Pratap Chowk and started firing bullets at Mukesh. His companions sitting with him somehow saved their lives by running away from there.

As soon as the bullet hit, Mukesh fell on the spot. Even after he fell, the criminals fired several bullets at him. During this the criminals fired about two dozen rounds. After committing the incident, the criminals fled from the incident site towards Kharouna village in the west direction. After receiving this information, his brother Kanchan Kumar Sah reached the spot and took him to Sadar Hospital. After examination, the doctor in Sadar Hospital declared Mukesh dead.
