The ED raided two locations located in Mihijam of liquor baron Yogendra Tiwari on Wednesday morning. When the team reached the residence, Yogendra Tiwari was at home, where the raid continued till late evening. Here, the main gate of Yogendra Tiwari’s residence of Mihijam remained closed throughout the day due to the ED’s raid. The movement of people remained closed. According to the information, the raid was started by the ED team at 7.15 am, which continued till late evening.
The ED team arrived in four Innova vehicles to raid Yogendra Tiwari’s Arya Inn Lodge in Mihijam and the office on the second floor of SBI Bank building. When Idi’s car stopped outside the bank in the morning, he took information about the second floor in the bank building from the guard posted at the ATM there. After this, a young man was getting down from Yogendra Tiwari’s office when the ED asked him about the office located on the second floor.
As soon as the information was received from the young man, the ED team reached the office located on the second floor and started raiding. However, after the time of the bank, the security personnel who came with the ED were allowing them to enter the bank only after questioning each and every bank employee. Customers were also allowed to enter the bank only after enquiry. Apart from this, the ED team also entered Arya Inn Lodge with two Innova cars and raided for a long time. At the same time, the team of ED along with two women members also went to the residence of Team Yogendra Tiwari.

An FIR was lodged against Yogendra Tiwari in different police stations of Jamtara district. Income tax survey was also done at the places of Yogendra Tiwari this year. The Income Tax Department had also called him for questioning.
