Yodha Movie Review: After Aiyaary, Shershaah and the web series Indian Police Force, once again actor Siddharth Malhotra is seen in uniform doing anything to save his country. This hijacked film, imbued with the spirit of patriotism, initially seemed like a rote film based on the formula of enmity between India and Pakistan, but just before the interval, a twist gives a different direction to the story, which increases the interest in the film. So it progresses, but after that the story becomes weak again. Logic disappears but that magic of cinema also does not appear on the screen, in which everything seems justified. Overall, this action thriller film has remained average.
The story of a warrior who risked his life for the country
Following in the footsteps of his father Surendra Katyal (Ronit Roy), who was martyred for the country, Arun Katyal (Siddharth Malhotra) also joins the Yodha Task Force when he grows up to serve the country. That he is a brave officer is established in the very first scene of the film but soon the story involves a plane hijack episode in which Arun is unable to save the country’s great scientist from the clutches of terrorists, resulting in the Yodha Task Force. Was disbanded. Due to this, Arun loses a lot not only in his professional life but also in his personal life. The story moves forward for a few years. Arun finds himself on a hijacked plane. The situation becomes such that not only the Government of India but even Arun’s relatives start suspecting him of conspiring to kidnap. Is Arun as villain as he seems, or is there more to the story? This is the story ahead.

Advantages and disadvantages of the film
Yoddha’s story was promoted as based on hijacking, but it is not a typical film based on that subject. Many twists were added to the film but they did not make the story effective. Although some twists are already known, this cannot be denied. The level of emotion in the film is very weak. Arun’s struggles and troubles do not connect you with him. Which is the weakness of writing. The action of the film has turned out to be good. The songs and music do justice to the theme of the film. Like the recent Agent films, this film also gives the message of unity of India and Pakistan.
Siddharth’s action avatar is captivating
Talking about acting, Siddharth Malhotra has played his character with full enthusiasm. He looks more attractive in uniform on screen. He has left a mark in action scenes. Raashi Khanna is settled in her role. The interesting twist related to Disha’s character adds color to her acting. Sunny Hinduja is acting like a rote villain, good was expected from a capable actor like him. The acting of the rest of the actors was in accordance with the story.
