Year Ender 2023: The year 2023 was full of records for the Indian stock market. For the first time, Sensex crossed 71 thousand, while Nifty also crossed 21 thousand. Meanwhile, IPO in the stock market attracted tremendous attention of investors. A total of 105 IPOs were listed on BSE this year in the primary market. Of these, 48 are mainboard IPOs. 90 out of 105 IPOs listed on the index are trending above their issue price.

Share Market

This year, investors earned huge returns from stock market IPOs of companies. In this, five companies alone collected bids worth Rs 4 lakh crore from the market. In this, Tata Tech alone raised Rs 1.5 lakh crore. Apart from this, Domes Industries, JSW Infrastructure, IREDA and Cello World also got tremendous response from the market.

Tata Technologies IPO

Tata Technologies made a splash in the IPO, raising Rs 3,042.51 crore. With total bids reaching Rs 1.55 lakh crore, the IPO reached an all-time high with subscription of 69.43 times. The company had fixed the share price band at Rs 475-500 per share. It is now trading at Rs 1,209.2, which is 141 percent higher than the upper level.

DOMS

DOMS Industries raised Rs 1,200 crore through IPO. Exceeding expectations, total bids were raised to Rs 65,060 crore, resulting in a staggering subscription of 93.52 times. The stock is now trading at Rs 1,351.7, up 70 per cent from the issue price of Rs 750-790 per share.

JSW Infrastructure

JSW Infrastructure raised Rs 2,800 crore through public offering. Total bids reached Rs 61,693 crore, resulting in strong subscription of 37.37 times. Priced at Rs 113-119 per share, it is now trading at Rs 214.35, 80 per cent higher than the upper end.

IREDA

IREDA raised Rs 2,150.21 crore from its IPO. A total bid of Rs 58,788 crore was made for this. It received 38.8 times subscription. Priced at Rs 30-32 per share, it is now lighting up the market at Rs 109.84, a huge rise of 243 per cent from the upper end of the price band.

Cello

Cello World raised Rs 1,900 crore. Total bids reached Rs 56,081 crore, resulting in 38.9 times subscription. At a price of Rs 617-648 per share, it is now trading at Rs 775.35, up 19 percent.
