World Tribal Day: ‘Reej Rang Rasika’ rally of Jharkhand tribal festival will start grandly

Ranchi: Where walking is dance and music is speaking. There we will all witness the unforgettable echo of 32 tribal instruments. When Riz Rang Rasika will dance to the beat of Mandar in traditional costumes, then the whole of Jharkhand will dance. Something like this Jharkhand Tribal Festival-2023 will start on World Tribal Day. The program will be organized at Birsa Munda Museum in Ranchi on August 9 and 10.

Rally will be the attraction

Reezh Rang Rasika Rally will be the main attraction in Jharkhand Tribal Festival-2023. The rally will leave from Dhumkudiya Bhawan, Karamtoli Chowk for Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan on Jail Road at 12 noon on August 9. There will be a confluence of 32 different tribal musical instruments of Jharkhand in the rally. Asur, Banga, Banjara, Bathudi, Bediya, Binjhiya, Birhor, Birjia, Chero, Chik-Badaik, Gond, Godail, Ho, Karmali, Khadiya, Kanwar, Kharwar, Khond, Kisan, Kora, Korva, Lohra, Mahali, Artists of Mal Paharia, Munda, Oraon, Parhaiya, Santhal, Sauriya Paharia, Savar, Bhumij and Kol tribes will be seen with their musical instruments.

Jharkhand Tribal Festival on World Tribal Day

Jharkhand Tribal Festival-2023 is being organized in Jharkhand on 9 and 10 August on World Tribal Day. Preparations are on in full swing to make this national level event grand. Stalls of traditional tribal jewelery and Palash brand products will also be set up in the Jharkhand Tribal Festival-2023. Exhibition and sale of products (Palash brand and Adiva brand) made by women of Sakhi Mandal will be done by setting up stalls by JSLPS, Rural Development Department. Under the Palash brand, rural women across the state ensure their livelihood through production, processing and marketing of food and non-food products.

Tribal jewelery brand Adiva

Under Adiva brand, traditional jewelery is being made available in the market with value addition, so that tribal traditional art and culture can reach the people. People will be able to see and buy traditional tribal ornaments in the tribal festival. More than 30 products will be displayed and sold in Palash’s stall. Like-pure honey, cold-pressed mustard oil, black wheat flour, turmeric, chili powder, ragi flour, chemical-free soap, cookies etc.
