World Tourism Day 2023: Valleys of Jharkhand are calling

World Tourism Day 2023: Padmashri Madhu Mansuri Hansmukh has mentioned the beauty of Jharkhand in his song. In 1972 he had written: Jharkhand Kar Kora. High and low, mountain and mountain, river and stream, rain and shelter… the lyrics of the songs written by him are still heard in the valleys of Jharkhand. The valleys of Jharkhand still invite tourists. There is a charm in the greenery and mountains here, which mesmerizes everyone.

Also from the point of view of religious tourism

The biggest thing is that Jharkhand is not the choice of tourists only for its water, forests, mountains, rivers and streams. It is also very important from the point of view of religious tourism. Whoever comes to Jharkhand once, he likes the climate here so much that he either settles here or comes again and again. Not enough efforts have been made at the government level to stop or provide facilities to tourists. But, the self-created natural beauty here is amazing in itself. On one hand, Parasnath is a famous religious place of Jains, while on the other hand tourists come to Deoghar from all over the country. The temple of Itkhori (Chatra) and Ramrekha Dham of Simdega attract tourists from religious point of view.

The valleys are also famous for eco-tourism.

There are about a dozen sanctuaries in Jharkhand. Centuries like Dalma, Betla are also included in these. Dalma is famous for elephants, while Betla is famous for the Tiger Reserve. An eco tourist circuit has developed around Betla. Netarhat, Lough Fall etc. have been included in these. The roads leading to these tourist places also thrill you. Dalma and Chandil Dam near Jamshedpur, while the Sal forest of Saranda never leaves our mind. The valleys and dams of Patratu are fascinating. Dumka’s Masanjore Dam and the array of temples at Maluti are a story in themselves.

Deoghar Baba Temple is world famous

Baba Temple of Deoghar and Basukinath Temple are one of the famous religious places of the country. A fair is held here in Saavan. Lakhs of devotees come from Jharkhand and surrounding states. Apart from this, there is a crowd of devotees here throughout the year. People coming here definitely go to worship Basukinath. Many people also visit Tarapith temple of West Bengal from here. There is a famous Parasnath Jain temple in the district at Giridih. This is a major pilgrimage site for Jains. Apart from this, Itkhori temple in Chatra is also famous for Buddhist art. Many famous people from the President and Prime Minister of the country have visited religious places like Deoghar and Rajrappa in Jharkhand.
