World Heritage Week 2023: Visit Taj for free, tourists will get free entry in all monuments

World Heritage Week started today from Sunday. In such a situation, ASI has made the entry of tourists free at all the monuments including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri. World Heritage Week is celebrated every year from 19 to 25 November to sensitize the public towards ancient monuments. Under the World Heritage Week, entry of tourists is free in all the ancient monuments including Taj Mahal in Agra on Sunday 19th November. It was inaugurated in Fatehpur Sikri on Sunday. Since entry to the monuments is free, a huge crowd of tourists is expected at the Taj Mahal and other monuments. On Saturday, a day before the start of the World Heritage Week, a huge crowd of domestic and foreign tourists was seen at the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon, due to increased pressure on the memorial, the tokens fell short. Due to this the tourists had to stand and wait in queues. On the other hand, there was a lot of fighting for the golf cart taking us to the Taj Mahal. According to the information given by ASI, a total of 37927 tourists including domestic and foreign tourists visited the Taj Mahal on Saturday. However, this figure may increase further on Sunday. Because Sunday is a holiday and on the other hand, due to the beginning of World Heritage Week, the entry of Taj Mahal has been made free for tourists.
