Many leaders of different political parties have MNREGA job cards in rural areas of Dadi block. They do not work, but the amount of wages is regularly sent to their bank account. They should get job card, they are not getting it. But the wages money is being sent to the account of these leaders without any hindrance. There are 18,165 MNREGA job card holders in Dadi block. That is, most of the families have a job card.
There are 9,305 active card holders in this. According to the rules, the job card holder has to apply in the Panchayat to get the job or he has to give oral information. But these political party leaders do not ask for work, the amount of wages is sent to their account. Some panchayat representatives also have job cards. Some leaders have got job cards made for their wives as well.
Case Study-1 : Gulchand Mahato is the leader of a political party. His job card number is 3/377. About 31 thousand rupees have been sent to their bank account as wages under various schemes of the panchayat.
Case Study-2: Mohanlal Mahto is also associated with a political party. Job card number is 3/348. In many schemes of MNREGA, his name is registered in the muster roll. 34-35 thousand have been sent to his account as wages.
Case Study Three: Suresh Mahto is a vendor and a worker of a political party. Own tractor. His job card number is 195. Their wages have also been shown in the soaking pit in Balasgara. 74-75 thousand have been sent to his account.
Job cards are provided to those willing to work. Their age should be more than 18 years. Where he lives, he should be a resident of that panchayat.
