The exercise of road construction from Kolkata to Bangladesh has started. Taking a step in this direction, Ranaghat MP Jagannath Sarkar visited a place called Gede No Man’s Land located in Nadia district of Bengal on Monday. Where he surveyed the place for road construction. After this, he met senior officials of Bangladesh and inquired about the said area. Talking to the media on this occasion, MP Jagannath Sarkar said that the culture of India and Bangladesh is the same. Remembering Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he said that it was because of his struggle and sacrifice that Bangladesh became independent. We are planning to build a land port to exchange the economic systems of the two countries.

For this, the governments of both the countries have come forward so that this scheme can be implemented very soon. India-Bangladesh rail service was already there, now work is being done to connect it with road transport as well. He said that if everything goes well, the work in this direction will start soon. During this, MP Jagannath Sarkar also had food together with the Bangladeshi guests.
