After a lot of hard work and research, the Tourism Department has brought a new tourism policy in the state, which has recently been approved by the Bihar Cabinet. All you business people should set up new industries in the field of tourism and take advantage of the grant amount available under the tourism policy. The benefit of grant up to Rs 25 crore is being given not only for hotel construction but also for building theme restaurants and parks, meditation centres, golf courses etc.

In the context of the development of Bodhgaya, in the meeting of tour operators, Tejashwi said that Mahabodhi Temple and JP Udyan are being connected with the help of a bridge so that the tourists coming from all over the world can meditate and worship here in a better way. This will increase the convenience of visiting the temple. The Deputy CM offered a robe to Lord Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and on behalf of the Mahabodhi Temple management, BTMC Secretary Dr. Mahasweta Maharathi honored him by presenting a replica of the Mahabodhi Temple.
Incentive will be given for investment in tourism sector
In the meeting of tour operators, Tourism Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh presented various points of the tourism fund policy to the hotels and tour operators. The Secretary said that in the new policy we have created many points of attraction for investors. For setting up a scheme up to Rs 10 crore, a capital fund of Rs 3 crore will be given as incentive. If you invest in a project up to Rs 50 crore, you will get an incentive of up to Rs 10 crore and if you invest between Rs 50 crore to Rs 100 crore, you can get the facility of incentive up to Rs 25 crore.
New tourism policy will be helpful in economic progress
The Secretary said that the tourism policy has been made in such a way that there is economic progress in the state. Along with skill development, there should be adequate employment generation and development of infrastructure in the tourism sector can be helped so that the number of tourists can be increased even more.
