In UP, a woman was brutally murdered by slitting her throat in Gauribazar police station area of Deoria. This incident was carried out when the woman was returning home from the shop. Sensation spread in the area regarding this incident. The police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. Also, the police have registered a case against unknown people in this matter and are busy investigating. Whereas the married woman’s parents have expressed suspicion of murder against her in-laws. In fact, 30-year-old Damini Maurya, daughter of Rambachan Maurya, a resident of village Patharhat of the police station area, had a love marriage with Amit Maurya, son of Parmanand, a resident of Bansdev Purva of Khukhundu police station area of Deoria, seven years ago. He has a five year old daughter. Due to differences with her in-laws, Damini was living in her maternal home for some time. To earn his living, he had opened a readymade shop at Khoraram intersection of Rudrapur Kotwali. Like every day, after closing the shop on Tuesday evening, she was returning to her parents’ home in Patharahat on a scooter.

Police station incharge Gauri Bazar Dinesh Kumar Mishra told that the deceased was coming from her in-laws’ house to Patharhat. Relations with in-laws were not good. Information about this has been received. The parents have filed a complaint against the husband. The husband is being detained and interrogated.
